Bookmark this article and check back sometime in the future, because A-lister Ethan Hawke has made if very clear that he’d love to be in a Star Wars project regardless of the role, and with his daughter the awesome Maya Hawke already a global star thanks to her turn in Stranger Things, maybe there’s some scope for a cool father-daughter duo to come sauntering into the galaxy far, far away.
“That hasn’t worked,” he said with a laugh. “I’ve said it on every talk show, thinking I’m going to get [cast]. I’ve put it out there, but it hasn’t helped.”
Noting he’d gladly play “Obi-Wan’s best friend” or any other role offered to him, Hawke added, “I’ll do whatever they want. Give me a lightsaber. I’ll be a bad guy, I’ll be a good guy, I don’t care.”
