Fantha Tracks were fortunate enough to be invited to visit Propstore and view the Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, which takes place on 9th and 10th November in London and online until the 12th. Our focus was the Anthony Daniels Collection, and on display was a selection of items from his incredible collection of items that have accumulated since 1976 and the earliest days of the saga.

Here we have his head from A New Hope, a TIE Pilots helmet (a rare mohican version), a Star Wars script, a Snowtrooper mask, the tennis shoe from the Battle of Endor, Threepio fingers, Ralph McQuarrie’s design for the Vader in Flames logo, hero lightsabers, scripts for Star Wars, Empire and Jedi, a model of Poe Dameron’s X-Wing and Threepio’s feet.

You can hear Anthony discuss the items that are heading to auction in this special episode of Making Tracks.

Sitting alongside the Anthony Daniels items were a trio of incredible props from the Indiana Jones films. First, the short worn by Harrison Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark, which was sent to the production of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in order to as closely match as possible for the 1944 deaged scenes. Also, one of the legendary Sankara stones and Indy’s whip from Temple of Doom, with a letter of provenance signed by Ford himself.

The aftermath of Star Wars saw a slew of similar projects get off the ground, including Alien and later Aliens. Here we have an Alien head, a pulse rifle, the APC, Hicks’ knife and an onset script.

Where else wil you find props from Stargate next to a promotional R2-D2 placed in front of costumes from Gladiator, Pirates of the Carribean and The Big Lebowski. Not only that but Forest Gumps running shoes, a hat and sandwich from Paddington, Gizmo from Gremlins, a door knocker from Labyrinth, Captain Scarlet marrionettes, the hoverboard from Back to the Future 2 and even the sword from Highlander. Throw in a headband from Karate Kid 2 and 3 and Robert DeNiro’s shorts from Raging Bull and you have an incredible display of movie history.

If you’re a fan of horror, fill your boots (and whatever else may be filled) with these incredible props, including the only hero Freddy Krueger glove made for Nightmare on Elm Street and Stanley Kubricks onset script for The Shining.

Science fiction was well represented at the auction with props from Blade Runner (the largest private collection to come onto the market), Joanna Cassidy’s outfit also from Blade Runner, Captain Picards season 1 and 2 jumpsuit from Star Trek: The Next Generation, a Superman model, a Batman clapperboard and the front of E.T’s face from the E.T Adventure Ride at Universal Studios.

The Mask, Tron, Boardwalk Empire, Kryptonite from Superman, chest shields from Batman, a robot from Batteries Not Included, models of the robots from The Black Hole, The Bionic Woman’s face, the old and new shields from Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron man’s helmet from Captain America: Civil War, a knife from Prince of Persia, Lee van Cleef’s hat, a mask from V for Vendetta, a sketch from My Fair Lady, some original james Bond art, a helmet from A Bridge Too Far, Ursula Andress’ outfit from Dr No, Daniel Craigs suit from No Time to Die and the monsters head from A Monster Calls.

As always, huge thanks to the team at Propstore for their time and generosity in allowing us to view and photograph these incredible items.
