The opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art might still be 181 days away, but the lead up to the opening of this hugely impressive building and the stunning art collections within is set to be every bit as exciting, and speaking here at last summers San Diego Comic Con, Doug Chiang lays out his own artistic journey, from a childhood love of comics to his role at Lucasfilm of ‘Senior Vice President, Executive Design Director’.

Last July at our San Diego Comic Con panel, Oscar-winning artist, renowned Star Wars production designer, and Lucas Museum Board Member Doug Chiang described how his childhood love of comics inspired his prolific career as an artist. We cannot wait to welcome visitors of all ages to find their own storytelling spark at the Lucas Museum.
