In a world with so few physical fandom activities going on, here’s one that everyone can get behind. To raise funds and awareness for CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably), Glynn Turner will attempt to cross the vast Humber Bridge with a self-built astromech, which will be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook.

Please join us live over at DroidBuildersUK. Sam Prentice & Lee Towersey will be supporting Glynn Turner’s attempt at crossing the Humber Bridge with his self-built R2D2 astromech. Please join us LIVE on Youtube and Facebook

Glynn is raising money for the charity CALM: The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male.
