Fantha Tracks were on the ground at MCM London Comic Con yesterday, grabbing a seat for the Hasbro Panel on Center Stage at 11.30am. After watching presentations for Marvel, G.I. Joe, Ghostbusters and Transformers we sat back as the Global Brand manager for Star Wars Jing Houle ran us through the GFFA reveals.

First off, we took a look at the figures revealed the previous day on 1027 on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel. We have the The Vintage Collection Cassian Andor from Rogue One refresh, with photoreal deco, The Black Series Paz Vizsla, in the new TBS line look box for the first time in this packaging, and The Black Series Mace Windu and 187th Legion Clone Trooper 2-pack. Mace is in a new costume, with The Clone Wars arm gauntlets. The Clone in purple armour like he was in the comics and the corresponding TVC figure. All are Pulse and shopDisney exclusives, with the two-pack part of the Clones of the Republic range, out Spring 2024.

We then moved in to the new reveals, and there was plenty to enjoy. First, a trio of The Vintage Collection figures that were revealed exclusively here on Fantha Tracks. First we have Finn in his Starkiller Base outfit (VC308) from The Force Awakens, released for the first time in The Vintage Collection, and he’s been upgraded to Photoreal.

Next is the Phase 1 Clone Trooper (VC309) refresh on the newer more poseable body with a removable helmet, and also from Attack of the Clones it’s Count Dooku (VC307), for the first time in TVC, and he’s a fully newly tooled Photoreal figure with double-sided cape and removable Force lightning hands.

For all three figures pre-orders open tomorrow, Monday 30th October 1.00pm Eastern, 5.00pm UK (remember UK readers, the clocks went back an hour this morning, so only 4 hours difference between UK and US at the moment). They’re out Spring 2024 as a shared fan channel exclusive.

Jing confirmed they are doing an anniversary beat for the prequels. It’s the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace, but all three prequels will be celebrated, so it will be a good year for prequel fans.

Next it’s The Black Series, and that prequel era celebration. We have The Phantom Menace Padme Amidala, which is a newly tooled Photoreal figure with two guns and exchangeable hands. She’s joined by The Phantom Menace Young Anakin Skywalker, also a new tool done in Photoreal with his backpack. Pre-orders are Monday 30th October 1.00pm Eastern, 5.00pm UK and the figures arrive Spring 2024 as a shared fan channel exclusive.

Over in Premium roleplay there’s The Mandalorian – Carson Teva Premium electronic helmet. A shared fan channel exclusive, it arrives Spring 2024.

Next were the Pipeline Reveals. From The Vintage Collection we have a Captain Enoch and Night Troopers build packfrom Hasbro Pulse / shopDisney, along with Ezra Bridger which is also a shared fan exclusive Hasbro Pulse / shopDisney, Kanan Jarrus in his Rebels season 1 outfit and Zeb in his season 1 gear.

From The Black Series there’s a new two pack, the Phase 2 Clone Trooper and Battle Droid from Hasbro Pulse / shopDisney, as is Darth Sidious and finally a Publishing Pack featuring Joruus C’Baoth, Luuke and Mara Jade from Heir to the Empire, from Hasbro Pulse / shopDisney.

We headed back to the Hasbro Booth where the Saturday displays were up and running.

Tune in to Collecting Tracks for a special episode directly from the Hasbro Panel, and conversations with Jing Houle (Global Manager, Brand Development & Marketing – Action Brands – Star Wars) and Alex Shropshire (Head of Commercial – Hasbro Pulse EMEA, APAC LATAM).
