Last night saw Empire at 40, a coming together of key ILM talent who worked on The Empire Strikes Back, moderated by Bill George (a mere stripling who’s been at ILM since 1981) and featuring Dennis Muren, Joe Johnston, Phil Tippett, and Lorne Peterson, who we spoke to at Celebration Chicago last year and presented on Making Tracks and Fantha Tracks TV.

A special livestream conversation with effects legends Dennis Muren, Joe Johnston, Phil Tippett, and Lorne Peterson in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. ILM’s VFX Supervisor Bill George will moderate the discussion.
