He was the voice of 8D8 in The Book of Boba Fett, and tonight Matt Berry was onstage appearing in A Toast to Toast panel + Q&A with Matt Berry, Arthur Mathews, Michael Cumming, Doon Mackichan and Harry Peacock at the BFI. When asked about future projects, he gave a potentially interesting reply.
When asked “Will you be doing another series of Toast of Tinseltown and if so when” to which Berry replied, “’When’ is impossible as I am currently contracted to a Disney project.…”
Having recently heard Berry voice 8D8 in The Book of Boba Fett, could this signify a return to the character in a second season, or perhaps another series set in that era? 8D8 is a droid, and so could appear in shows set across multiple eras. Or indeed it could be another Disney project entirely? Whatever happens we’ll bring the news here.
