Here on the site, on Fantha Tracks TV and Radio and our social media feeds we’ve been posting coverage of our trip to Finse in Norway for Hoth Strikes Back, and earlier this week Mark appeared on the 454th episode of Skywalking Through Neverland to discuss the trip and reveal a few nuggets from their excellent adventure.

Crawl out of that tauntaun, grab a cup of warm blue milk, and settle in for exciting stories about vacationing on the ice world of Hoth!

On March 5, 1979, principal photography began in Finse, Norway for THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Mark Newbold of Fantha Tracks visited these icy plains. He stood on the grounds where Luke Skywalker was attacked by a wampa, he walked the snowy terrain where the great AT-AT battle took place, and he got to play in the snow with Darth Vader and his Imperial troops. Here he shares his stories and some amazing pictures.
