Tested were afforded the amazing opportunity to chat with modelmakers John Goodson and Dan Patrascu about the incredible (and very, very real) model of the Razor Crest for The Mandalorian and Grogu, delving into the process behind bringing this beloved vehicle to life not once, but twice.

To bring back the beloved Razor Crest in Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, ILM once again brought on modelmakers John Goodson and Dan Patrascu to build its filming miniatures. Adam Savage visited their workshop during the film’s production to get a close look at the new ship and learn the challenges of building the Razor Crest in not one but two separate scales!

Be sure to stay tuned to Fantha Tracks Radio and my onstage interview with John Goodson and Kim Smith at Rebel Scum Con III.
