Featuring voice work by sequel films, Solo and Willow star Dee Tails, storyboards (and Zombie apples) by Topps artist Rutvig Vaid and directed by Simon J. Frith (the man behind the Mike Edmonds documentary), this is What A Waste!, created for the Love Essex food awareness campaign.

In Essex, food waste currently makes up roughly 25% of the waste found in the general rubbish. Not only is this contributing to climate change, but it’s also a huge waste of money – did you know, the average Essex household wastes £60 a month by throwing away food that could have been eaten?

This short film by Deadline Communications highlights the issue of food waste in a lighthearted and comedic tone. Give it a watch!
