Mads Mikkelsen and Riz Ahmed recieve BAFTA nominations

The BAFTA nominations were announced earlier today and as seems to be the case in this 2021 awards season, Star Wars actors and ILM have been represented with two actors from Rogue One going head to head in the Best actor category.

Riz Ahmed, Sound of Metal
Chadwick Boseman, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
Adarsh Gourav, The White Tiger
Anthony Hopkins, The Father
Mads Mikkelsen, Another Round
Tahar Rahim, The Mauritanian

ILM’s work on The Midnight Sky, one of the very first productions to use ILM StageCraft, is also given a nod.
