Apple iOS Devices

The Fantha Tracks App is available on iOS devices from Apple such as the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad that are running iOS 11 or later.

The main page of the app loads the latest news articles.  To search for a specific news item or term, press the looking glass on the top right and enter the required text followed by enter in the search field that appears. To open any news article, tap of that article and the article will load.  You can share that article to services such as Twitter, or Facebook that you have installed on your device and which uses the iOS share sheet functionality. Access the share sheet by tapping the iOS share icon on the top right, or the share button at the bottom of any article. The open button launches the article in your Safari website browser app. Some articles may have features not supported in the app, and for the full benefit of the articles content will be required to be opened in Safari.

Tapping on the “hamburger” style menu button on the top left opens up the menu system.  Here you can access all sections of the app from the news, to Fantha Tracks TV, Fantha Tracks Radio, and our social media. Fantha Tracks TV content follows the same principles as the news section with share and open options available for every episode.  Tapping on an episode will open that episodes page, and you can press the play icon to watch the episode in question.

Fantha Tracks Radio is our podcast home.  Each episode of every show is available to listen to within the app.  Click on an episode and then the play button to listen in.  You can then exit the Fantha Tracks Radio section and visit any other section of the app whilst still listening to the show you picked.  So why not check out an episode of Making Tracks whilst reading the latest Star Wars news, or search for the article or news item they are discussing on the show. You can also check out our podcast database that collects content from all around the Star Wars fandom.

You can access the full array of Fantha Tracks social media within the app.  Check out the latest content on our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr services.  Open the posts up in a browser by tapping the export icon in the top right.  Share the posts by tapping the forward icon on the bottom left. Tapping on an image in Tumblr lets you save it as your screensaver or wallpaper.

At the foot of the menu are options to view the news by category.  So if you are a fan of Star Wars literature you can get caught up on all the Star Wars literature news in one place.
