It’s one of the most action-packed sequences in The Mandalorian and Grogu, the battle between Din Djarin and the Dragonsnake beneath the audience chanber of the Hutt twins on Nal Hutta, and here Jon Favreau and Pedro Pascal discuss the scene and how it all came together.

Go behind the scenes with Jon Favreau (Director/Writer/Producer) and Pedro Pascal (Actor, Din Djarin) as they break down the dragonsnake fight in the tank under the twins’ Nal Hutta Palace. Favreau and Pascal discuss filming anecdotes, design inspiration from their love of past Star Wars projects, and Din’s parental relationship with Grogu.

For more on the Dragonsnake, check out my article over at ILM.com, and stay tuned to Making Tracks for our chat with stuntman J.J. Dashnaw at Rebel Scum Com III.
