This preview will provide a shortened version of ILMxLAB’s virtual reality experiences Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge. This experience will allow the user to experience Batuu like never before. It also significantly expands Batuu as well. Inside the Quest 2 headset, the user will be able to see 360 views from the Star Wars galaxy like they’ve never seen before. The adventure takes place on the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. This also is the same location for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
This story and experience features classic Star Wars characters and also some new ones. The gameplay was designed for a variety of players. This includes Star Wars fans to VR gamers. For the first part of the experience, the player will take on the role of a droid repair technician operating near the Outer Rim. Then pirates attack and the player finds themselves crashing on Batuu, they discover that anyone in the Star Wars galaxy can end up being a hero. A recently released expansion, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge-Last Call will allow players to expand their adventures even more. This will include more virtual reality adventures on the Outer Rim and also more experiences in different eras in the Star Wars galaxy.
