Interesting news lands from the world of Indiana Jones, a day after Indy 5 had its scene-stealing moment on the stage at D23 Expo as producer Frank Marshall reveals that Helena, the character played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, is in fact Indy’s goddaughter.
Who could she be? the daughter of an old friend of Indy we don’t know about? Maybe Ox from Crystal Skull, or perhaps Marcus Brody? We’ll find out soon enough, and that’s not the only news from the event, as Short Round actor Ke Huy Quan from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was reunited with Harrison Ford after over 30 years.
With Sallah back for Indy 5, and word that George Lucas was involved to some degree – and with the ever-dependable James Mangold at the helm – Indy 5 really could do what Ford promised and kick our assess June 2023.
