When two stars of the Star Wars galaxy meet for the first time, it’s always a momentous occasion, but when those two stars are R2-KT and Vivien Lyra Blair, meeting at the recent ComicCon Stuttgart in Germany then it’s definitely worthy of attention. Here, the galaxy’s most caring droid and a Princess who we know loves astromechs meet…and our old pal R2-D2 made sure to swing by as well.

Next weekend is a busy one on the convention celendar, with events in Manchester and Telford taking place. Wales Comic Con welcomes Vivien to Telford – for the final time before it moves back to Wales – and Fantha will be at the show. No guarantees, but we’ll do our level best to grab a few words with Vivien and bring it to you on a forthcoming episode of Making Tracks.
