With her mother Carrie Fisher recieving her posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Billie Lourd has taken to social media to post an exchange Carrie once had with an interviewer where she mentioned her desire to see a Princess Leia dress – jump ahead a good few years to yesterday, when Billie wore a dress Carrie would have approved of, featuring Princess Leia.

On what must have been a very special day for Billie and her family, she shared a number of images from the event.

Proof – not that anyone in this dojo needs to be told – that a bit of glitter makes everything better.

“My mom was glitter. She left a mark of her sparkle on everyone she met.”
