We know her best in these parts as Qi’ra, the teenage love of Han (before he took the surname Solo) who ultimately ruled Crimson Dawn and became a major threat to the galaxy in much the same way as her Game of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen threatened the power balance of Westeros, but here on Earth we know her as the wonderful Emilia Clarke, and this week Emilia and her mother Jennifer recieved their MBE’s from Prince William to mark their work co-founding SameYou, a charity to help post-brain hemorrhage survivors like Emilia.

As you can see here, this was quite the meeting of titles.

“Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, the Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, the Breaker of Chains and His Royal Highness The Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Rothesay, Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Chester, Earl of Carrick, Earl of Strathearn, Baron of Renfrew, Baron Carrickfergus, Lord of the Isles, Prince and Great Stewart of Scotland, Royal Knight Companion of the Most Noble of the Garter, Extra Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Personal Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty The King”
