We’re long-time pals of Marc Hockley, who Star Wars fans may know from appearances in Andor and The Last Jedi, and outside of his many GFFA interests he has a successful career in music, which brings us to this – Modern Devils, his debut album which dives deep into his love of early 80’s electronic dance. The Kickstarter to see this project fund a green vinyl release with USB wristband is up and running with just over 3 weeks to go, so head to Kickstarter to learn more, check out his YouTube channel for clips of the songs and pour some quality 80’s electropop into your ears.

I’ve been writing & recording songs since I was a kid & signed my first record deal at the age of 21. I spent the last two decades touring the world with my tribute shows to Robbie Williams & Michael Bublé, which is great fun but there’s nothing like expressing yourself through your own music.

Modern Devils is a electronic dance / pop album which fully embraces the digital era of music that coloured my childhood, the 1980’s!

Written & recorded with a stack of synths in my home studio and mixed with Damon Sawyer at Crescent Studios.

The album also features special guests: Simon Small [Chicane], Ben Christo [Sisters of Mercy], Paul Geary [Nik Kershaw] & Smiley [Archive & The Alarm].

The album will be released in July via Apple Music, Spotify & all major digital music platforms.

There are several teaser videos for the album on our You Tube Channel

This debut album is already recorded & mixed – ready for release in July 2024.

This Kickstarter will fund the physical release on Green Vinyl & USB wristband.
