Did Natalie Portman film scenes for Obi-Wan Kenobi?

That’s the bold claim by industry insider Jeff Sneider, who brought it up on this weeks episode of The Hot Mic. With recent claims that Portman is in talks to appear in season 2 of Ahsoka, Sneider dropped the claim that Natalie filmed scenes for Obi-Wan Kenobi while shooting Thor: Love and Thunder, but the scenes didn’t fit the flow of the season and as such were dropped.

Well, all this came to light when he made an appearance on The Hot Mic podcast hosted by John Rocha. It was none other than insider Jeff Sneider who let out bombshell details that she had shot scenes for Obi-Wan Kenobi while at work on Thor: Love and Thunder in 2022. Sneider said, “She previously did shoot some stuff for the Obi-Wan show while working on [Thor], but it didn’t make the final cut.”

To be very clear, there’s absolutely no word from Lucasfilm or Disney on this claim, but we’d be remiss not to mention this should this bold claim one day be confirmed – and what a reveal it would be if it was. Could Padmé have appeared in a VFX enhanced flashback? Perhaps Natalie would have played one of her Handmaidens in the (then) present day of the show. Whatever the options, we’ll be sure to chew them over on the 215th episode of Making Tracks, out this week.
