What collector wouldn’t want a droid in their collection, and for those who perhaps don’t have the skills to build a fully working astromech or a protocol droid suit but do have an interest in 3D printing and having awesomeness grace their collection rooms, then this is the post for you. Let me walk you through how I built a life-size K-2SO in 10 days. My intent was to build a droid with no paint, or bonding. Yes there are seams, no it’s not as smooth as some and it automatically move around. But hey, I 3D printed a colored full-scale K-2 unit in only 10 days!
