It’s not long until 19th June, when the south side of Chicago welcomes a whole new campus in the form of the Obama Presidential Center, and to let the world know more about this hugely ambitious endeavour, President Obama invited Mark Hamill along to…well, watch the fun for yourselves.

Welcome to the Obama Presidential Center, a cultural institution that aims to inspire, empower, and connect people to bring change home. A space where people of all ages and all backgrounds can join together to build our shared future. Located where President and Mrs. Obama began their journeys to public service, Chicago’s South Side, the 19.3 acre site is designed for you. Explore our one-of-a-kind Museum or take in a good book at Chicago’s newest public library branch. Hang with friends on the Great Lawn or shoot some hoops at Home Court. From around the block to across the world, we invite you into our home for hope and change.
