While Attack of the Clones may have its detractors – not in these parts, we think it’s a fantastic mystery thriller that lit the fuse of the Clone Wars and tipped the galaxy on a one-way ticket to darkness and despair – one thing that absolutely cannot be denied is the lush and evocative score by the maestro, John Williams. Spearheading that wonderful soundtrack is Across the Stars, the love theme for Anakin and Padme, and here Williams has reinterpreted the theme for German violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter.
It will be released next year on a compilation of Williams classic, but for now, enjoy this beautiful new arrangement of Across the Stars, performed by Anne-Sophie Mutter.
