Star Wars Galaxy magazine launched in the UK on the 13th March from Immediate Media Co. The same publisher who brought us the collectable LEGO Star Wars trading cards series last year.
Publishing every four weeks, Star Wars Galaxy magazine will be a collection of puzzles, games, competitions and activities for younger readers. Together with the latest Star Wars news, and Star Wars comics.
The magazine will be very much in the style of the now cancelled Star Wars Adventures magazine by Egmont.
Issue #1 is on newsstands now, priced at £3.99 with a new edition arriving every four weeks.
Issue #1 includes the comic “Ring Race” by Martin Fisher, drawn by Bob Molesworth. The story was published in the first issue of Star Wars Rebels Magazine, which was originally released in the UK on January 28, 2015, and later in the US on October 20, 2015. There is hope that previously unreleased Star Wars Rebels comics (that were printed in Germany) will be part of future issues.
Issue #1 comes with a locking notepad, and pen, with further gifts planned for issue #2 including key rings, and wristbands.
