As part of a fraternity of voice actors who bring to life the animated characters of the DC Universe, Mark Hamill will forever be indelibly linked to the role of the Joker, but he’s not the only actor to perform the role in animated adventures. John DiMaggio, a fellow GFFA voice, plays the clown prince of crime in the forthcoming Batman: Death in the Family, and he relayed just what Hamill thought of his performance in one of the most iconic Batman stories.

“I appreciate all the other Jokers and stuff like that and they appreciate me. We’re kind of like this weird fraternity of actors that have played the part. It’s kind of fun. You know you did OK when Mark Hamill says, ‘John, I love what you did with the Joker. It’s great!’”

DiMaggio joins Kevin Michael Richardson, Star Trek’s Brent Spiner – a longtime pal of Hamill – and K-2SO actor Alan Tudyk who plays Joker in the awesome Harley Quinn animated series.
