The Expanded Universe, denoted as, EU refers to the Star Wars fiction books and movies produced up to 2014. In April 2014, the series was rebranded to Star Wars Legends. This transition came with the introduction of new characters, places and storylines. It also brought a change in the themes and galactic battle grounds.
It is quite difficult to spot out the references in the entire Expanded Universe as it featured different characters of different, yet complicated abilities. You would need the help of the script to accurately tell out the referrals. A fanatic, however, will manage to do so at ease and with zero assistance.

The Star Wars References Explained
1. Bounty Hunters’ Gulld
The Bounty Hunter was first introduced to the Star Wars fans in the in the first season of ‘The Mandalorian’ when it was first mentioned. However it was mentioned in the new canon in the 2014 cartoon ‘Star Wars Rebels,’ when it was bestowed its current name.
2. Vibroblades
These lethal massive sharp blades were the ultimate weapons in the EU before being passed on to the next generation. It was featured significantly when Din engages the beast in a battle in a quest to retrieve the egg from Mudhorn. The egg was to be exchanged for the stolen arts of his spaceship from the Jawas.
These massive weapons made their Star Wars debut in 1979 featured in the Han Solo Adventures. Although they were not often utilized, they compensated for their dormancy the moment they were put to use.
3. Life Day
This is a holiday that was featured in the star wars holiday special when Han Solo and Chewbacca visited Kashyyk to make merry and celebrate with Chewie’s family. On this day too, the Mythrol was captured in Dins’ ship while surveying around. He was held captive and restrained in carbonite.
4. Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster
Star Wars essay papers describe it as a weapon of close proximity to a two-pronged tong sniper gun. It was fabricated by Din in the story of the faithful wookie in the holiday special. This weapon was instrumental in Luke Skywalker’s rescue. Its design mimics the Amban phase-pulse blaster.
5. Blurrgs
Someone in the shows commentary page described this animal as the ugliest and deadliest living creature. In an attempt to write an essay to describe it, he lacked the word befitting its appearance. 6. Mythosaurs
Similar to the Blurrgs, there are other creatures that were used in the early 1980. They were represented by a skull sign. Their major presence was in the 1982 released comic, Death in the City of Bone.
The image of the Mythosaurs skull has been associated with the Mandalorian to the latest publication of this interesting comic book. Funny thing is that they were large enough to be converted to logistics equipment.
7. Beskar
This was the material used in the construction of the war gear used in the Mandalorian. There was need to develop strong impenetrable material for use in the making of armors.
Beskar was found to be the right fit for the job due to its exemplary characteristics and adaptability to the ambient environment of the battle ground. It was first spotted in the 1994 release ‘Tales of Jedi 5’.
8. Infared Motion Sensors
The infrared technology was infused on the helmets of soldiers. Din, for example, used it to track people who had not left behind physical footprints. It works by detecting the heat produced by the creatures. It was key in the Expanded Universe by bounty hunters. This technology was also used in revealing hunter hidden appearances.
9. Krill
Most of the writing service companies majoring on the history of Star Wars can never fail to recognize these freshwater zooplanktons. These crustaceans were farmed by the resident locals on the dry land on planet Sorgan, which is full of trees. They made an appearance in the scene back in 2001 via the film’s computer game known as Galactic backgrounds.
10. Incinerator Stormtrooper
Stormtrooper was an inferno flame thrower used in battle. It was first seen in the expanded universe in 2008 in star wars video games called The Force Unleashed. Its major power was in the technologically advanced helmets and fuel packed back packs.
