Star Wars is one of the most popular franchises of all-time, and with that comes millions of fans around the world. There aren’t many franchises that can claim to have the same success as Star Wars, and much of that is down to how it continues to invest new audiences.

Some fans have been invested in Star Wars since the first film was released in 1977, while others have fallen in love with the franchise by watching the later movies. Its longevity has ensured that it is the most successful film merchandising franchise of all-time. But, how can Star Wars fans celebrate all things that are great about the film series?

Attend A Comic-Con

One of the most popular ways for fans to show their gratitude to what the franchise has given them is by attending comic-cons around the world. Some of the most popular events are even attended by cast members, while you won’t be out of place dressing up as one of the characters regardless of the venue. One of the most popular comic-cons in the United Kingdom is the one that takes over Birmingham, and thousands of people that attend that event dress up as characters such as Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and Princess Leia. If you want to celebrate all things Star Wars, then the best thing to do is attend a comic-con.

Go To The Theme Park

You don’t have to be in the movie to get an experience like the characters in the film, as you can attend one of the many theme park destinations around the world that are dedicated to the franchise. There are rides such as Star Tours: The Adventure Continues to enjoy at Hollywood Studios, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland. The best place to go to in order to get the true sense of what it was like in the films is Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with attractions such as Galaxy’s Edge, Millenium Falcon- Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance all available for fans to try out.

Re-Watch The Films

Star Wars has the ability to make fans feel great about themselves, which means that if you ever want to get closer to the franchise all over again, then you could just watch every single film. Obviously, this may be slightly time-consuming, but it could be an excellent idea for a weekend activity with friends. You can have other fans over to your house and watch all nine movies in one go. Just be sure to have enough snacks to ensure that you can power through.

If you still have time after you have finished the nine films, then you can get straight into The Mandalorian, which has already gained incredibly popular reviews ahead of the second season being released in October this year. There are also a host of video game titles to enjoy with your friends if you didn’t want to watch the films.
