The Message / The Power
Star Wars characters may perform Jedi mind tricks owing to the Power, a mystical and ephemeral force. This may be used to manipulate and influence people. They may accomplish this by summoning the Voice, a power learned via mental training and used by the Bene Gesserit in Dune.
Darth Vader / Dundy Idaho
Jason Momoa, who portrays the House Atreides swordmaster in Dune, recently characterized his role as “Han Solo-esque.” It’s not difficult to see why we made the comparison. Idaho has been promised by House Atreides, although it barely appears in passing. To bring the people of Arrakis and the Atreides together, he becomes an envoy to the Fremen.
