Alan Tudyk talks K-2SO and Andor: “Yeah, I’m gonna be in it”

Coliider’s Maggie Lovitt had the chance to sit down with the star-studded cast of Grimsburg including K-2SO performer Alan Tudyk and Maggie asked him about his role as the acidic former security droid and whether he would be returning for the second season of Andor in 2025. Good news for fans of the towering droid; Tudyk confirmed that he will be indeed back after broaching the subject of spoilers and how to avoid them.

“It was fine. I don’t know. It’s so tricky now. You never know what you can say and what you can’t say. One slip up and then you find it on your phone, like, ‘What did you say?’ So, I think a lot of actors, we’ve all gotten muscles around lying.

Yeah, I’m gonna be in it. I can’t tell you how much, so I still have secrets and I can’t say anything about it, but it was fun to be back with Diego Luna.

Tony Gilroy is a very skilled writer. He’s a big-brained guy. It’ll be interesting for people to see K-2SO in that world because he was such a smartass, and there was a lot of humor around his being there.”
