While he’s every kind of awesome in roles ranging from Broadchurch to Harry Potter, Doctor Who to Good Omens, it’s worth remembering that the first major international award he won was for the role of Professor Huyang in The Clone Wars, for which he won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program back in 2013, and here in a video ahead of the BAFTA Awards David Tennant discusses a swathe of topics including his love of Star Wars.

Tennant returned to the role of Huyang in 2023’s Ahsoka, a show that could well garner even more awards as gong season continues, and be sure to watch this. Tennant is a national treasure, and we’re lucky to have him in the GFFA.
