While he didn’t give much away – or heroically pull up the Deadline reporter for saying how excited she is to see ‘Lando*‘ – Diego Luna did once again reiterate just how much he’s going to miss the character of Cassian Andor once the second and final season ends, walking us directly into the crowds of the Ring of Kafrene and the events of Rogue One.

When it came to the second season of Disney+/Lucasfilm’s Andor, star Diego Luna says, “I can tell you, I’m sad.”

Awwww. Why so sad?

“Because it’s the last season!” he exclaimed on the Golden Globes red carpet, “it’s the end.”

The series takes place during the events that precede Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

“I’m excited for audiences to watch, it’s been a long journey. it’s cool,” Luna adds. Season 2 of Andor comes out on April 22, 2025.

We’ve just a week left of the superb Skeleton Crew, and then a couple of months until Andor returns, where we’ll be sure to dive in and bring all the usual coverage here at the site.

*By the way, we’re excited to see Lando as well. Fingers crossed Donald Glover gets motoring on that this year.
