Tomorrow will bring the two episode finale of the debut season of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, and unusually for most modern TV shows, we can rest easy for two reasons; one, we know the star of the show isn’t going to die, and two we know the show’s coming back. On that subject series star Sam Witwer spoke to The Direct about the season and dropped a very tantalising knowledge nugget, which – potentially – means the second season might not be as far away as we might expect.

“I know when it’s coming out, but it’s not a situation where the audiences will have to wait too, too long. I think I am forbidden from saying what I know, but we are working on it. We’ve been working on it for a while, and it’s interesting.”
