Sad news as all Disney Stores in the UK and ROI are set to close by September 2021, leaving only the flagship stores in London and Dublin open. With changes in buying habits and the ever-evolving nature of brick and mortar stores, changes were always likely to come.
The Glades store in Bromley opened on 12th April 1992 – the same day as Disneyland Paris – and was one of the original locations. Earlier this year the locations at Intu Watford, Golden Square Shopping Centre in Warrington, and Bon Accord Centre in Aberdeen closed, along with The Gyle in Edinburgh back in March 2020.
