The busy boys and girls over at Echo Base LIVE certainly aren’t kicking back and taking it easy following the event on October 20th. Not only have they announced the date for the next show, Star Wars day Saturday May 4th 2019 (for which people are already booking hotels!!), but they have today announced the charity fundraising totals and attendance. Over 2,000 people attended the event throughout the day, but with the clever use of the space it never seemed overcrowded.

The Echo Base Live team have chosen BEAT, the UK’s Eating disorder charity to be the beneficiary of their work over 2018/19, and the latest event raised over £1,000 for them Over £930 was made on the raffle, which included some fabulous one-of-a-kind prizes and a further £115 was made from sales of their exclusive Christmas cards featuring artwork by Echo Base forum members, including several official Topps artists. This brings the total raised for BEAT this year to £2,059 – and all this whilst being able to chat Star wars and grab those hard to find items you’ve been after for years.

And not wanting to leave anyone out, the guys have posted details of how you too can get your hands on the Christmas cards on their Facebook page here. UK prices are £8.50 including postage and packing, with additional sets being just £8 each, so why not grab some for the Star Wars fans in your life this festive period.
