26th – 28th September saw a red carpet of Hollywood royalty arrive at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City for the 2024 running of FanX Salt Lake Pop Culture & Comic Convention, and among those stars was Anthony Daniels who took to the stage for a panel to discuss his career and decades inside the golden coverings of C-3PO, human cyborg relations.

Known for his iconic role as C-3P0 in the Star Wars franchise for over four decades, he has cemented himself as a key figure in Star Wars history and pop culture with his distinctive voice and mannerisms.

Anthony Daniels is an English actor and mime artist, best known for playing C-3PO in 11 Star Wars films. He is the only actor to have either appeared in or been involved with all theatrical films in the series and has been involved in many of their spin-offs, including television series, video games, and radio serials.

Daniels was the voice of Legolas in the Ralph Bakshi animated adaptation of The Lord of the Rings. He has appeared intermittently on British television in various dramas, including playing a pathologist in Prime Suspect starring Helen Mirren. Daniels is currently an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center.

Anthony returns to the stage to host Star Wars in Concert in Los Angeles on 21st – 24th November for four performances. Stay tuned for more from this very welcome return here on the site.
