Returning to Aalter on Saturday 25th June 2022, it’s Meet & Greet II — A Star Wars toys collectors fair, bringing the force of fandom to Belgium.

For the second time, Star Wars collectors in Belgium are being reunited by their online community

Vintage Star Wars Belgium, an online community for collectors of Star Wars toys, is hosting a second meet & greet in Aalter on Saturday 25 June. This gathering is a fair where the Star Wars collectors can meet like-minded people and discover holy grail collector’s items in an intimate setting.

The online community Vintage Star Wars Belgium is the perfect platform for collectors to exhibit and trade their collected items. This creates a strong virtual bond between the members – and one that lives on in real life as well, now that the group has decided to meet up regularly. Vintage Star Wars Belgium is convinced that Star Wars events should be organised differently and that’s exactly what they do.

During the first meet and greet last year, collectors from all over Belgium and beyond finally got the chance to meet each other in person and to bond with each other. And you bet it was a success! The feedback after the first edition was super positive so a second edition was an inevitable consequence. – says Tom Boute, host of the event and founder of Vintage Star Wars Belgium.

Apart from the chance to meet like-minded souls, the event also features a bunch of other activities. Star Wars collectors and dealers are stalling out unique collector’s items. Expand your army of Stormtroopers or find that one-of-a-kind you’ve been hunting for years. The famous Belgian Star Wars fan club TeeKay-421 and professionally dressed up characters of The Belgian Garrison of the 501st legion will be present to add to the galaxy vibes during the meet and greet. You can check the website for full details on the programme.

A galaxy far away
Not only members of the online community Vintage Star Wars are invited to the event – the meet and greet is open to every Star Wars lover out there – big or small. Buy and early bird ticket and receive a personalised name badge upon arrival at the event. A fun icebreaker, as it becomes easier for you to recognise and address the collectors you’ve met online.

The meet and greet will take place on Saturday 25 June from 10-18h in JC Kadans, Stationsstraat 71, 9880 Aalter. Tickets cost 6 euro in presale and can be bought through the Vintage Star Wars website. Are you a Vintage Star Wars collector yourself? Join the online community by taking part in the Facebook group.
