Thursday 17th April from 7.00pm – 10.00pm will see the running of the Not-So Virtual Cantina Special Edition, and today the latest guest for this fully sold out event is announced. Senior Kenner designer Jim Swearingen will be at the event, joining an already stellar roster of guests at the show.
The Virtual Cantina Network, owners of the World’s Largest Star Wars Celebration Fan Page are proud to announce that the Toy Father, Jim Swearingen joins the roster of the special Meet & Greet Guests that will be attending the Not-So Virtual Cantina Special Edition taking place in Chiba, Japan at the Hub Makuhari, a 15 minute walk from the Makuhari Messe where Star Wars Celebration is taking place, from 7pm-10pm.
In early 1977 as a Senior Designer Jim was instrumental in Kenner’s acquisition of the Lucas Film, Star Wars license and the development of the toy line.

This event is completely SOLD OUT after a record-breaking sellout in 4 minutes back on 1, January. However, we will be offering a HYPERSPACE TICKET at the door. Fans who want to participate in the Meet & Greets will be able to buy entry at the door, upon attendees leaving for the night. The cost will be $50 and includes Open Bar and access to the Activities. This will only be offered during the 7pm-9pm time and entry is not guaranteed.
