No, not a typo we really are talking about the Star Wars Fan Fun Day that should have been happening this time last year (sniff, sniff).

As the first part of a three-day salvo of news, Neil Livesey, Paul Dunne and the team have announced that depsite the show being cancelled, they have still been able to cover the costs incurred and make a donation to their nominated charity, the East Lancashire Hospice.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Thanks to the generosity of people donating their ticket money, sponsors donating their sponsorship money and people purchasing pins and patches we were able to cover all costs incurred and (MORE IMPORTANTLY) present a cheque for £1000 to the hospice despite not running the show. Star Wars fans are absolutely the best!

More great news tomorrow!

Great news from one of our favourite events, and there’s more news coming tomorrow with new merch available from Wednesday – this will be a (few) day(s) long remembered!
