Solo: A Star Wars Story has arrived in our galaxy – and our group review of the film will be with you soon, along with the immediate thoughts of a dozen Fantha Trackers after seeing the film at Pinewood Studios on next Tuesdays second episode of Making Tracks – and much of the film was shot in the Canary Islands.

The tourist commission of the islands are making the most of the fantastic publicity that this weekends opening of Solo will bring – and it’s expected to be a big opening – so click here and check out what the islands have to offer.

Somewhere in the galaxy, there is a place with a climate like something straight out of a film: exactly on the third planet of the solar system, 7 islands await you with a revitalising experience

The Canary Islands are the perfect destination for taking a break and going home with more energy than ever. For everyone even our friends from the latest film in the Star Wars saga. Don’t miss the spots where “Solo: A Star Wars Story” was filmed in the best climate in the galaxy

Each of the 7 islands has mild weather throughout the year, as the trade winds that caress the archipelago keep temperatures moderate. That is why the good weather will always be with you in the Canary Islands.
