With Echo Live XIII a matter of weeks away, the latest (and possibly final?) guests joining the ‘Jabba’s Palace’ themed event (and Star Guest Dinner the night before) are….

MY PALITOY STORY: BOB BRECHIN & BRIAN HICKEY

We’re delighted to announce that both Bob and Brian will be joining us at Echo Base Live and Star Guest Dinner!

10 years in the making, the book charts the rise and fall of one of the most iconic toy manufacturers of the 20th Century and creators of some of the most sought after vintage Star Wars playsets in the world.

They’ll be available to discuss all things Palitoy, the progress on the amazing book, and more.

They join Paul Brooke (Rancor Keeper), Paul Weston (Nikto stuntman), Femi Taylor (Oola), Simon Williamson (Max Rebo), Sean Crawford (Yak Face) and Jabba puppeteers Dave Barclay and Toby Philpott at the events which promise to be a glorious celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Return of The Jedi, and with 9 guests expected there are still a couple more to be announced to complete the line up.
And as if that wasn’t enough the guys a Read Five Designs have announced an exlcusive edition of their Kenner Star Wars Toy book will be available wiith an exclusive Echo Live dust jacket, as well as some other goodies or early purchasers.

Born in the early 70’s Carl is one of the OT Children of ’77 – ’85. When not focusing 100% on Star Wars, Carl can be found hitting drum-shaped things for several bands in the Midlands area including Amoeba Teen, Flying Ant Day, Sleuth, Grand Valise and BBC6Music faves The Humdrum Express. Carl features on Fantha Tracks Radio fan music podcast Desert Planet Discs with co-host Level Up Leroy.
