Debbie Lee Carrington, who played an ewok in Return of the Jedi and Weechee in Caravan of Courage and Battle for Endor, has passed away age 58.

Debbie appeared in a huge number of TV shows and films, most famously In Living ColorHoward the DuckTotal RecallMen in Black, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Batman ReturnsBoston LegalDexter and Bones but her most famous role was as an ewok, which saw Debbie travel the world attending conventions.

Fellow Return of the Jedi alumni Mike Quinn posted his condolences on his Facebook page earlier today.

So sad to hear of the passing of a fellow Return Of The Jedi performer Debbie Lee Carrington

She was an advocate for actors with disabilities and had a degree in child psychology.
She had done so much, not only as an Ewok but was inside the costume for Howard The Duck, appeared in Total Recall, Grace & Frankie, Dexter, Captain Eo, the list goes on…

Way too young. She was a real powerhouse! My condolences to all her family and friends at this time.

Fantha Tracks send our condolences to Debbie’s family and friends.
