While the fandom is reveling in the second season of Andor: A Star Wars Story, so are the critics and the wider viewership as the numbers start rolling in for the season, numbers that very clearly display that the show is very much connecting with its audience. Rotten Tomatoes has been a barometer for many movie and TV lovers over the years, and here we can see that the show is popular with critics and fans alike.
JustWatch keep their practised eye on the UK charts, and against some stiff competition Andor is more than holding its own.
Luminate have pulled their numbers together, showing very strong numbers for Andor season 2. In the week of 2nd – 8th May, they estimate a whopping 714.6 million minutes were watched, 48% up on the previous weeks 481.3 million minutes.
In related news, the most consumed, searched and shared content for the week of 25th April to 1st May revealed a strong showing for the previous two Star Wars TV projects The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew.
