BEWARE SPOILERS: Just like with the previous Disney Plus series, we at Fantha Tracks will be offering our own episode guide for your entertainment! Here we will post every reference, Easter egg, everything named and unnamed per episode and some fun trivia in-between that we have spotted.

Episode 12 – Jedha, Kyber, Erso

Official summary: Cassian returns to Yavin with intel that will change everything.

Trivia
Nothing ends” is a bit ironic to be saying in the beginning of what is the last episode of a series, but from a certain point of view this is still true as the story continues in Rogue One and A New Hope.

Stun grenades are as old as the early days of the RPG from West End Games, but the look of the stun grenade seen in this episode takes it inspiration from the thermal detonator that Leia uses in Return of the Jedi.

K-2SO using Heerst as a human shield is a bit overprotective as we have seen KX droids take more than a few hits and keep going in various of other sources. Even in Rogue One it took a lot of blasts to bring K-2SO down in the end.

As the U-wing flies away, a bunch of ships can be seen parked. They appear to be all new. However they do pass by a LAAT/le patrol gunship which, ever since its animated debut in The Clone Wars, has popped up quite a lot, most recently in Ahsoka.

The sarcastic “You’re welcome” from K-2 is another nod to Rogue One, where he said the same line.

This is not the first time we see such a conversation between Mon Mothma with a large Saw hologram. It appeared for example in Rebels as well.

In this episode, and the previous one, we also have a new character walking around at Yavin Base: Lieutenant Poyle, performed by Terique Jarrett.

A fair few returning characters can be spotted on Yavin now we are so close to Rogue One like Admiral Raddus and Tenzigo Weems (the controller tech that Raddus speaks to). Pao is also in the background during this scene. He can also be seen running later in the episode as Cassian is about to leave.

Not seen but mentioned is, again, Dodonna and Merrick. That would be Antoc Merrick, Blue Leader, from Rogue One.

The next couple of returning characters are Nower Jebel and Tynnra Pamlo. Both debuted in Rogue One, but since then Pamlo has also appeared in The Bad Batch and Leia, Princess of Alderaan. Jebel however has only appeared once outside Rogue One and Andor, and that’s in the novel Aftermath: Empire’s End.

They are also seen talking at the same table where the big Rebel Alliance meeting was in Rogue One.

During their toast Cassian and Vel mention all the characters from the previous seasons who had died along the way: Gorn, Nemik, Taramyn (Barcona – also from the Aldhani heist), Cinta, the Ghormans, Ferrix, Maarva and the Dhanis.

Nemik’s dialogue is taken from his manifesto, The Trail of Political Consciousness, as seen in the Aldhani episodes.

Bai says “May the Force be with you” to Cassian. Unless we are forgetting a more obscure source, this is the first time for Bail Organa utters this famous line. In Rogue One it was said by both Jyn and admiral Raddus, and variations thereof by Chirrut.

Throughout the episode we hear that Tivik needs to talk to Cassian and in the end he leaves to do so. Of course this is tying in with Rogue One where we saw Tivik and Cassian meeting, but thanks to these episodes a new layer has been added: Tivik confirms in Rogue One that Galen Erso is indeed part of this all, confirming the breadcrumb given by Kleya that they knew the least about.

Dedra is seen on Narkina 2, wearing the same prison outfit as seen in that arc.

The yellow droid that B2EMO is playing with is called ARG19, nicknamed Aggie.

The U-wing Cassian boards was identified in Rogue One as shuttle number LMTR-20.

And stay till the end for a familiar theme making its splendid return.
