BEWARE SPOILERS: Just like with the previous Disney Plus series, we at Fantha Tracks will be offering our own episode guide for your entertainment! Here we will post every reference, Easter egg, everything named and unnamed per episode and some fun trivia in-between that we have spotted.

Episode 6 – What a Festive Evening

Official summary: Vel and Cinta to Ghorman. Cassian home to Bix. An argument. A heist. A party. Everything at risk.

Trivia
After it having been mentioned a lot of times in both seasons, we finally see a location located on Steergard: Its the port from where Cassian is picked up by Luthen, now that his mission to Ghorman has concluded.

Also visible at Port Steergard are Corellian hounds.

Luthen Rael’s Fondor Haulcraft uses the same levers as the Millennium Falcon to jump into hyperspace with.

In Luthen’s Galactic Antiquities and Objects of Interest we see an alien customer. This is a Nobillian, first seen The Last Jedi. Also seen there is a new item: a glove with spikes. We have been unable to identify as of yet if this is a reference or a new item. For sure a newly mentioned item is the Darvian medallion.

Perrin mentions Senators Rhodi, Plada, Danascar and a Girvan banquet as plans for their Senate Investiture week. They are all new to him, and to us as well.

During their reunion Vel and Cinta comment on the new hair style that Cinta is wearing. This mimics such comments made by Han and Leia in The Force Awakens.

The function of Oathkeeper was referenced by Pablo Hidalgo in 2023 already, in the sourcebook Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide. Considering Hidalgo’s involvement with the show it is highly likely that this was meant to foreshadow this character.

The Oathkeeper is of an unknown species, but feels like someone who walked off from the pages of Tales Of The Jedi, the original comic run from Legends that is. There may also have been some design influence from an unused Jabba the Hutt concept art by Nilo Rodis-Jamero.

Also seen in the Senate is a Cingulon. This was the alien Senator which Mon Mothma exited the elevator with and talked to during her lobby against P.O.R.D. in Episode 4.

Yes, unfortunately Jimmy Smits was not able to return to the role of Bail Organa due to scheduling conflicts with the Dexter prequel series. Benjamin Bratt took over the role for this season. This was not the first time the role of Bail was changed. Originally the character Bail Antilles, who was cut from The Phantom Menace and later only mentioned, was meant to be Bail Organa with actor Adrian Dunbar in the role, and let’s not forget how Bail Organa was voiced in various animated series like The Clone Wars, Rebels, Tales Of The Jedi and The Bad Batch by Phill LaMarr.

Breha is mentioned, who of course we have seen in Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (performed by Rebecca Jackson Mendoza) and in Obi-Wan Kenobi (with Simone Kessell in the role).

New elements at the party include the Paparazzi droid, Kali coolers (a drink), Lost Empire and all the artifacts with their told history like the Battle of Carmeen.

And while the species is unknown and new, the character was named: Strang. Strang was brought to life by creature performer Aidan Cook, who has had many roles in recent years including Edrio and Benthic Two-Tubes in the previous episodes.

Strand was talking to Luthen and Cleave (Nicholas Day). Day is well known to UK viewers for his recent featured role in the prime time soap opera Emmerdale.

When the Imperial transport is hit by Cinta’s electrical charges, the transport goes down making the same kind of system failure noises as the Millennium Falcon’s failing hyperdrive.

And back to the subject of curse words, we get a Ghorman one in this episode: Chob. The sentence it was used in makes it clear what it stands for. Especially as we hear the Ghorman version for shit not much later.
