He pretty much stole the show as Director Krennic in 2016’s Rogue OneDarkest Hour and Ready Player One. Next year we will be seeing him in Captain Marvel and 2019 will also see him appearing in animated film Spies in Disguise alongside fellow Marvel star Karen Gillan, Rashida Jones, DJ Khaled and former ILM-er Masi Oka.

A buddy comedy set in the sort of high-octane secret agent world usually occupied by James Bond and the rest, Spies In Disguise finds Smith as Lance Sterling, who, to quote the description is, “The world’s most awesome spy. Cool, charming and super-skilled, saving the world is his occupation. And nobody does it better.”

Then we have Holland’s Walter, who, as you might be able to guess, isn’t exactly on the same level, though he brings his own talents to the table. What he lacks in social skills, he makes up for in smarts, being the genius brain behind Sterling’s gadgets. But when events take an unexpected turn, the pair has to rely on each other in a new way.

There are no details on what the new cast will be bringing to the film, though we wonder whether Mendelsohn will once again be dipping into the Bad Guy bag, or if he’ll be a fellow hero.
