His recently released book The Ride of a Lifetime: Lessons Learned from 15 Years as CEO of the Walt Disney Company revealed that George Lucas was somewhat disappointed in The Force Awakens, given the steer away from his original notes. However, after a set visit Iger feels Lucas is happier with The Mandalorian, giving this brief note.

“George has been fine.”

Iger also discussed his own feelings on the show and an insight into his own process.

“I’ve probably seen each episode of The Mandalorian three times. First, to give some notes. Second, to see the rough cut and the impact of the notes. And now, just recently, I watched all the final cuts so that I could be blown away by how it looks.”

So not only does he have one of the coolest jobs on the planet, he’s also seen every episode of The Mandalorian 3 times already. Who needs Disney Plus, just become the CEO of Disney and see all your favourite shows as often as you want.
