Speaking at the Walt Disney Company’s Fourth Quarter 2021 Financial Results Conference Call, Chief Financial Officer Christine McCarthy has just revealed that Star Wars: Andor will be arriving on Disney Plus fourth quarter 2022, meaning that it will potentially land somewhere between 1st July and 30th September with Q4 most likely referring to the financial fourth quarter rather than the calendar one.
As of 2nd October Disney Plus has 118.1 million subscribers (that’s up 2 million for the quarter), ESPNPlus has 17.1 million and Hulu 43.8 millions.
Disney expects the ‘log jam’ to be busted at the end of Summer 2022 in terms of content that was backed up due to Covid for Disney Plus with a huge amount of new content.
