In this live installment of Galactic Builders, animatronics engineer and co creator of BB-8, Matt Denton, shares what it was like building BB-8, his approach to building engineering marvels and how you can get involved in animatronics. Matt also shares a closer look at building his very own D-O, the lovable droid from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Galactic Builders is created in collaboration with FIRST, the world’s leading youth-serving nonprofit advancing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
