There are many things to admire about The Last Jedi – the stellar visual effects, some incredible designs and a soundtrack of epic proportions by John Williams that was almost – almost – complimented by the chart-topping vocals of Take That‘s national treasure and Episode 8 guest star Gary Barlow.

“We get a call from Star Wars saying, ‘We’ve got a part for Gary in the next movie. There’s a bar and we would need a singer, and he would be in the film’, and I couldn’t speak.”

“About a week before shooting, they came back saying, ‘We’re really sorry but the storyline has changed and it’s now going to be an alien’.”

Have a little patience Gary, these days it only takes a minute and everything changes.
