We’ve been posting about a potential Obi-Wan Kenobi film, then a TV series for a while now, and as recently as last week we were discussing it here on the site but tonight at D23 Expo, Ewan Mcgregor came onto the stage to rapturous applause and confirmed it – he’s back as Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Set 8 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, the series is set to shoot next year on location and in the UK. As always, as soon as we get news you’ll hear about it here on Fantha Tracks.
